Learn from Science learn from Faith
BYUI Forum
BYU-I's University Forum is an event that happens once a month. A guest speaker is invited to share his or her perspective in a subject matter they are expert in.
My job as the designer was to create a design that conveys the message of the assumedly contrasting topics of faith and science.
Since BYU-I has a predominantly LDS student population, I chose to create icons and elements that symbolize parts of the Latter-day Saint faith.
I created vector illustrations for each of those icons. This was a campus-wide event, so both digital and printed materials were created.

“As long as you realize you might start with a lot of material that’s not completely true - in fact, I don’t think we deal with a lot of absolute truths in the world today, we deal with approximations - and we sort of keep looking for the most approximation we can find,”
